On Wednesday President Trump announced his intention to nominate three new judges to the Federal Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. They are:
Michael P. Allen of Florida. Mr. Allen is a law professor and director of the Veterans Law Institute at Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida. He is a recognized expert in veterans benefits law.
Amanda L. Meredith of Virginia. Ms. Meredith is deputy staff director and general counsel of the Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs and previously served as general counsel to the Veterans’ Affairs panel.
Joseph L. Toth of Wisconsin. Mr. Toth is a veteran of the Judge Advocate General Corps of the U.S. Navy. He previously served as a field officer in the Rule of Law Field Force Afghanistan while stationed with the U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Division in the Zhari District.
