Unqualified medical professionals diagnosing Vets with TBI

After using unqualified medical professions to perform brain injury exams, the Minneapolis VA Medical center is under extreme attentiveness. A large number of veterans diagnosed with TBI were examined by VA health providers who were actually unqualified under VA policy. In June over 24 thousand letters were sent out to veterans offering new exams to reassess their TBI claims. This allows veterans the option to reschedule an exam if they believe their outcome was unfavorable.
