The Army Commendation Medal highlights those in the Armed forces for non-combat acts of heroism, extraordinary achievement, meritorious achievement and meritorious service performed after December 6, 1941. After June 1, 1962 the medal was also awarded to members of the Armed Forces of a friendly foreign nation. It was no surprise that Bosley & Bratch veterans attorney Ralph Bratch, a Major in the JAG Corp of the U.S. Army Reserve, was recently awarded his second Army Commendation Medal (ARCOM) for his leadership as the Acting Regional Defense Counsel for the Southeast Region of the 154th Legal Operations Detachment.
Ralph’s responsibilities included the incredible task of managing up to fifteen judge and paralegals defending Soldiers in military separation actions and other disciplinary matters throughout the southeastern United States and Puerto Rico.
