The “No Veteran Crisis Line Call Should Go Unanswered” bill was recently passed by the Senate and introduced to the House by Congressman David Young. This bill would require a plan to ensure that someone calling the Veterans Crisis line or back up call center gets an answer in a timely manner. This bill was created in hopes to improve help for suicidal veterans.
