What are they saying about the new Trump administration and the VA?

While many speculate what the new Trump administration will mean for veterans, the VA, and current military, here are some highlights from around the web…

• Air and Space Forces Magazine speculates that the Trump administration could, “quickly reverse military policies regarding abortion and transgender service members, though recent pushes in Congress to improve military pay and quality of life will likely continue.”
• The Center Square looks at pay, benefits, and personnel noting that key cabinet positions will be key.  Also, insight from Retired Army Lt. Col. Jim Whaley, the CEO of Mission Roll.
• The Military Times notes that overturning certain policies regarding abortion and transgender members, “may not be as easy as a quick executive order.” Public protests and legal fights could create roadblocks as well.
• Military.com takes a look at Former Rep. Doug Collins, Trump’s pick for VA head where he states, “We’ll fight tirelessly to streamline and cut regulations in the VA, root out corruption, and ensure every veteran receives the benefits they’ve earned,”
