Orlando Sentinel- The Orlando VA Medical Center is up and running even with the difficulties of the construction. The center was scheduled to be completed in 2010 but construction didn’t start until late 2010. U.S. Rep. Jeff Miller is questioning the VA as to whether they conducted an investigation regarding who is held accountable for the hold up. Miller has been reviewing the case in Denver regarding the same issues in construction. Due to the delay in construction the price of this new facility more than tripled the original starting cost.
