Supporting Women Who Served: Sponsoring the She’s the Veteran Gala

At Veterans Help Group, our mission is rooted in ensuring that those who served our country receive the support and advocacy they deserve long after their service ends. That commitment is why we were proud to sponsor the inaugural Star Spangled Gala for She’s the Veteran, an organization doing vital work to support women who have served in our nation’s military. Their mission centers on improving women veterans’ health and mental health through meaningful programming, building strong community connections, and advancing research that addresses their unique needs.

The Challenges Women Veterans Face

Women veterans are one of the fastest growing veteran populations, yet, too often, they face challenges that remain unseen – from navigating transitions to civilian life, to accessing care tailored to their unique experiences, to simply finding spaces where they feel understood. She’s the Veteran works to close those gaps. They are creating pathways for women veterans not just to cope, but to truly thrive.

Honoring Service: A Night to Remember

We were honored to attend the evening alongside distinguished guest General (ret.) James E. Livingston, a Medal of Honor recipient whose lifetime of service embodies the courage, leadership, and sacrifice the veteran community represents. His presence served as a powerful reminder of the dedication of those who have worn the uniform and the importance of continuing to support them in every stage.

Standing Together for Veterans

Sponsoring this gala was more than an opportunity to support an event – it was a chance to stand alongside a community committed to honoring service with action. Those in attendance were united by a shared belief: that those who have served our country deserve access to care, connection, and continued opportunity.

The evening was not only a celebration of service, but a reminder of the power of collective action. By investing in organizations like She’s The Veteran, we help expand the network of care available to veterans and ensure that no one’s service is overlooked.

Our Ongoing Commitment

Veterans Help Group remains committed to supporting efforts that advance the well-being of all veterans, and we are honored to stand with partners who share that mission. The work of She’s The Veteran reminds us that supporting veterans extends beyond gratitude – it requires investment, advocacy, and community.
