A few weeks ago at our Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway we had the honor of having Thomas Brown visit, pictured on the right. A former Army staff sergeant from Largo, Florida is now taking on the role of a homeless coordinator for Tampa Crossroads. His job is to help veterans in Hillsborough county. He travels to different locations in the Tampa Bay area helping homeless veterans who are in need of permanent shelter. Apart from his work at Tampa Crossroads he attends numerous functions with the Patriot Guard Riders. He provides support for Honor Flights that take World War II veterans to Washington DC and meets with Gold Star families. To find out more about Thomas’ story click here.
