Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway for Disabled Veterans!

On Monday, Bosley & Bratch hosted its Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway for Disabled Veterans in the Tampa Bay area. Veterans were given a gift card to use at Walmart or Publix for a turkey, ham or any other holiday sides of their choice.

Advocates from Tampa Bay Crossroads were on site to speak to veterans about upcoming events and how they help the community. Tampa Bay Crossroads is an organization that helps veterans obtain housing, manage mental health care, overcome drug and alcohol addictions, and develop a healthier happier lifestyle.

Truly Nolen, a pest control company, brought out corn hole, made popcorn and supplied the holiday music.  They offer a 10% discount for any services to all veterans.

Southwest Honor Flight was available for Veterans interested in finding out more about the upcoming Honor Flight trips.  The Honor Flight is a national network of volunteers that transports Veterans to the monuments in Washington, D.C.  A member of our staff served as a Guardian on Mission 27 in September to Washington, D.C.  Bosley & Bratch is proud to sponsor an employee each year for this trip of a lifetime.  Chapters are located all over the United States.  For more information about registering as a veteran, volunteer, guardian or to find your local chapter click here.
