Disabled veterans that receive VA disability checks and several other types of pay from the VA will see a 2 percent pay raise in their monthly paychecks in 2018. The increase will go into effect December 1, 2017. This cost of living (COLA) increase will be the largest yearly increase since 2012. This will result in a monthly increase from $3 (for those with a 10% rating) to $58 (for those with a 100% rating and individual unemployability). Other users, including Survivor Benefit Plan beneficiaries and those who draw Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC), can also expect to see an increase. More information on rates can be found here.
